Message: “A Proclamation Without Words (Romans 6:1-11)” from Timothy Eric Bermejo

A message from the series "Sunday Service." As we reflect together on the meaning of the ordinance of Baptism, every listener should be moved by its message, either challenged or encouraged. The first lesson we should grasp is that Baptism is not optional, as it is a direct command from the Lord to all His disciples. We must then understand that Baptism is an outward physical act that speaks, in quite a dramatic style, of an inward reality: a) it is a proclamation of our Faith in Christ Jesus, b) it is an expression of our Identification with Christ Jesus and c) it is a proclamation of our Future with Christ Jesus.

The Solemn Assembly of Remembrance (Nehemiah 8:13-18)

The Solemn Assembly of Remembrance (Nehemiah 8:13-18)

Today Pastor David will lead us in a solemn assembly of remembrance, such as the Israelites held at the end of their Feast of Tabernacles. Last Sunday we saw the significance of the Feast of Tabernacles as a time of thanksgiving and rejoicing because of God’s great mercies. So this week we focus on how they finished out that week with a sacred time of reflection and confession.
