Message: “Wait on the Lord” from Tim Melton

A message from the series "COVID-19." Back in Numbers 13 and 14 we read that the children of Israel had been led to the edge of the Promised Land. God had led Moses to send in 12 spies to search out the land. They had returned with stories of a great land that was truly a land of milk and honey as God had promised . . . but it was also filled with giants. 10 of the spies were convinced that the situation was hopeless. Their view infected the people of Israel and the people rebelled against Moses and chose not to trust God and enter the Promised Land. Because of their unbelief, God declared that no one over the age of 20 would ever enter the Promised Land, except for Joshua and Caleb, the two spies who had believed in God and had declared that God could deliver the children of Israel.

After God's Heart (2 Samuel 9)

After God\'s Heart (2 Samuel 9)

Our sermon will revolve around the theme of the heart of the man who was referred to as “the man after God’s own heart.” After a brief summary of David’s rise to power as the king of Israel, we will drill more deeply into his adoption of King Saul’s grandson, Mephibosheth. This loving kindness touches on the very heart of God and his loving kindness to us through our Messiah Jesus.
