Message: “The Solemn Assembly of Remembrance (Nehemiah 8:13-18)” from David Carey Dixon

A message from the series "Sunday Service." Today Pastor David will lead us in a solemn assembly of remembrance, such as the Israelites held at the end of their Feast of Tabernacles. Last Sunday we saw the significance of the Feast of Tabernacles as a time of thanksgiving and rejoicing because of God’s great mercies. So this week we focus on how they finished out that week with a sacred time of reflection and confession.

Behold I Stand at the Door and Knock

In this sermon, Pastor Wyley gives the meaning of Jesus’ letter to the church of Laodicea. Jesus sees the self-deception of the people and calls on them to turn to him and to trust in his values and vision for their church and life provision. He is knocking on the door of the church and wants to be invited in to commune with them. We learn how Jesus deals with those who backslide. His love is coming for us
