Because of God´s help, they had miraculously crossed over the Jordan River at flood stage and entered the Promised Land. With God´s help they had defeated and destroyed the great walled city of Jericho. They now turned their attention to the small city of Ai.

Today is Palm Sunday,and as we think back to that triumphant day when Jesus road that simple donkey into Jerusalem,we see once again the coming of Immanuel, God with us.
