In chapter 2 we read about Rahab´s helping the Israelite spies escape Jericho. Now, Israel is about to come against the city of Jericho.

“I promise. . . “ When you hear these words whose voice comes to mind? Maybe your spouse. Maybe your boss. Maybe a friend. Maybe your child. Did you believe them? When you hear the words ¨I promise¨ in our culture today do you generally believe it or not?
