Is Being Holy Really Sustainable?
Scripture References: Joshua 23:1-16
A message from the series "Sunday Service." Everyone knows that we live in a “like” culture. Everyone is searching for “likes.” And without knowing it, we find ourselves living to please others. But we need to ask ourselves: Do we please God? And: How can I please God? In this sermon on Hebrews 13, we will focus on the practical aspects of this question to discover how we can only please God through the one who pleased him in everything: Jesus Christ. In relation to that, we will also talk about the need to please God in different areas of our life, such as right relationships with others, a right relationship with purity, right relationships with money and material things, right relationships with leadership and discipleship.

In Joshua 23 - 24 we hear Joshua's final words to Israel before his death. In the lifetime of Joshua no pagan nation or city was able to stand against Israel as they walked with God. The Promised Land was conquered, but the Canaanites had not totally been driven out. That was the task that Joshua left to the next generation.
