A message from the series "Sunday Service." One of the essential characteristics of the church is that of being a “Community of One Anothers.” Throughout scripture we find this phrase “one another” when describing the people of God.
“This is My commandment, that you love one another.” “Be devoted to one another.” “Bear one another’s burdens.” “Be hospitable to one another.” “Serve one another.” “Build up one another.” “Comfort one another.” “Encourage one another.” “Seek after that which is good for one another.” “Stimulate one another to love and good deeds.” This is just a sample, there are many more verses that call us to care for “one another.”

CloseToday we come to Joshua 5 and 6. In previous chapters Israel came to the banks of the flooded Jordan river and miraculously crossed over on dry ground. In chapter 2 we read about Rahab´s helping the Israelite spies escape Jericho. Now, Israel is about to come against the city of Jericho.
