Jesus (Matthew 11:28-30)“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”
Jesus (John 11:25)"I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.¨
Jesus (John 3:16)“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
John (John 1:12)“But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name (Jesus), he gave the right to become children of God.”
John (1 John 1:9)“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.“
And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
John 17:3 (ESV).
There could be various reasons for why you have come to read these words, but if you are someone who is truly searching for God you need to know a few things about knowing God, which many people ignore. One is this: the only way you can come to know God is through Jesus Christ. John 14:6. (“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’”). Secondly, the only way you can know Jesus Christ is if God the Father draws you to Him. John 6:44(a). (“No one can come to me (Jesus) unless the Father who sent me draws him.”). Jesus said these things because God’s Word, (the Bible), teaches that the human heart is so naturally selfish and sinful, and our spirits so alienated from God by our sinfulness, that God Himself must do all the work of salvation for us, from start to finish. (Genesis 6:5, 8:21; Jeremiah 17:9; Matthew 7:11; Mark 10:18; Romans 3:10-12; 8:28-30; Ephesians 2:8-9; Hebrews 12:2). While God can and does draw people to Himself through His Son in many ways, including discontentment, suffering, sickness, relationships with Christians or even through unexpected providential event or events in life, primarily, God draws us to Himself through his Word (the Bible) and specifically, by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Regardless of how you have come here today, however, we encourage you to continue on to know God and His Son Jesus Christ.

As Jesus said:
“All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day. For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”
John 6:37-40 (ESV)
May God grant you salvation in Jesus Christ our Lord.
