In addition to the hundreds of books awaiting readers, there have been a number of developments. Here’s a summary of the main changes:

  • ALL NEW Library Resources Management System

  • ALL NEW ONLINE CATALOGUE Service

  • New EASY PATRON Check-in/Check-out Service

In our current catalogue we have a variety of Christian topics ranging from theology and church history, through biographies to life applications, allegory, world religions and biblical teachings. We wish to strengthen the content and quality of resources being brought into the IBC Library.

We ask you to partner with us in seeking the highest Biblical / Christian, Christ-glorifying, Believer-edifying materials, resources and standards to build our ministry and our church. The Library encourages you to get ‘stuck-in’ with the extensive selection of great books, music, audio books and DVDs and additional resources that we will be providing. Some of the other forthcoming services and improvements we anticipate include:

  • Review and recommendation capabilities

  • Patron Library (barcode) Cards

  • Android / iPhone Apps

  • Self-check-in / check-out / renew facility

  • Improved lighting & shelving

If you have taken any books without having signed them out officially, kindly return them as soon as possible. We are very reluctant to enforce a system of fining. We request all library members / patrons, church members and regular attendees to return ALL books, DVD’s, CD’s, booklets, magazines, teaching resources, and additional material. Thank you for your co-operation.

A full version of the IBC Library Statement of Faith is available in the Library Guide or from a member of the Team.

“We are quite persuaded that the very best way for you to be spending your leisure time, is to be either reading or praying. You may get much instruction from books which afterwards you may use as a true weapon in your Lord and Master’s service.”
