The Worship Team leads the congregation in a blend of traditional and contemporary music to lift up our spirits each week in praise to our Lord, Jesus Christ.
We recognize that we must live lives of worship during the week if our leading of worship is to mean anything as we lead the congregation on Sunday.
Each member of the worship team brings their musical or technical experience to the service of the church. The worship team is always looking to add to the diversity of instruments being used to praise God and support our corporate worship. On any given Sunday, you may see people offering of their time and talent to sing, play keyboard, percussion, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, violin, viola, cello, flute, trumpet, or saxophone. Would you like to offer your skills of singing or playing an instrument? We welcome you!
There are two Worship Teams which rehearse either on Friday or Saturday in the church auditorium for around 2 hours. They lead the worship on alternate Sundays.
Please contact us if you would like to participate in the Worship Team.

The Church Choir
The Church Choir is a vital part of the music ministry at Immanuel, a vehicle for all to experience lifting up praise to the Lord in harmony. The choir is open to all who want to sing, age 12 and up. No prior experience in choral singing is required, only the desire to make a joyful noise to the Lord and work with other brothers and sisters to make the music as beautiful as it can be.
The Choir has two main focuses: to provide a musical Call To Worship each Sunday, and to sing a variety of anthems as special music monthly throughout the year, in three or four part harmony (SAB or SATB) with a variety of instrumental accompaniment. The choir also sings for occasional special events such as our annual Carols By Candlelight concert and other external events to which the choir is also invited.
The Choir meets every Sunday between the worship services, 11 months per year (except when pre-empted by fellowship meals or other church events). Rehearsal should start at 12:00, or 10 minutes after the worship service ends in the choir room upstairs in the new building.
If you are interested in singing we welcome you! Please contact Asun Borras or Eric Peters or just come join us on Sunday!
